For decades, finance teams have been stuck with a month end that is fragmented, manual and stressful. We’ve always believed it shouldn’t be that way, so we set out to fix it.
In 2021, we launched Mayday with a bold mission: to mend month end.
Since then, we’ve systematically taken on the chaos of the close, step by step.
We began with multi-entity accounting automation, tackling complex processes such as intercompany recharges, intercompany loans, and controls over the chart of accounts and tracking categories.
Then, we turned our focus to core month-end accounting workflows, starting with Deferred Revenue and Prepayments.
This evolution culminated in the launch of Mayday 2.0, powered by our AI-engine. We are changing how modern finance teams close their books, and our impact hasn’t gone unnoticed:

The insights shared by finance leaders opened our eyes to Easy Month End as core infrastructure for any finance team alongside Xero and Mayday. We got to know Easy Month End co-founders Pete and Nik and saw what they had built: an intuitive, elegant framework for month-end tasks, reconciliations and accountability.
