Cassie Bingham
Cassie Bingham is Finance Manager at Douglas Chemists, a privately owned Australian community pharmacy network founded in Goulburn in 1972. The business now runs 30 pharmacies across Queensland, New South Wales and the ACT, trading under brands including Priceline Pharmacy, Discount Drug Stores, Good Price Pharmacy Warehouse and Soul Pattinson Chemists, and employs more than 600 people. Head office is made up of 12 people across finance, human resources and operations, supporting the pharmacy network.
Douglas Chemists has outsourced its bookkeeping and payroll functions as part of an ongoing digital transformation, giving the finance team room to move past transactional work and toward strategic value. Xero is the core accounting platform across all 30 pharmacies, handling daily bookkeeping and financial reporting for the group.

Mayday is used for month end close, primarily to manage and reconcile intercompany balances across the group's 30 pharmacies.

Employment Hero is the payroll platform for the business's 600+ employees across the pharmacy network, covering pay runs and related compliance needs.

Eftsure supports audit and reporting, helping the finance team verify payment details and lower the risk of payment fraud across the group's payment activity.

Weel is used to manage employee expenses, providing visibility and control over spending across all 30 pharmacies.
