October 28, 2025

London, England, 28th October 2025: Mayday today announced it has been selected as a Finalist in the Xero Global App Awards 2025, recognising its excellence and innovation within the Xero app ecosystem.

Mayday has been shortlisted in the prestigious People’s Choice Award category, a global award voted for by Xero users to celebrate the app partner that makes the biggest difference in their day-to-day work. The nomination recognises Mayday’s impact on mending month end for finance teams at complex businesses scaling with Xero at their core.

With more than 1,000 certified apps in the Xero App Store, Mayday is proud to be named one of just four finalists worldwide, alongside fellow app partners A2X, Joiin, and Paidnice.

Founded in 2021, Mayday has rapidly grown to serve over 12,000 Xero organisations, helping them automate thousands of postings back to Xero every month. After being named Xero’s Emerging App Partner of the Year 2023 and earning 300+ reviews on the Xero App Store with a 4.98 average rating, this latest recognition marks another milestone in Mayday’s journey.

Being named one of four finalists out of more than 1,000 Xero apps is a real honour, made even more special because it’s voted for by the Xero community,” said David Tuck, Co-Founder and CEO of Mayday. “We’re grateful to every customer, partner, and supporter who continues to believe in our mission to mend month end, and to everyone who voted for us. It’s a privilege to stand alongside the best in the Xero ecosystem, and we look forward to the final results next month.
