Mayday wins Xero's People's Choice Award and Practice App of the Year
We’ve been named People’s Choice at the Xero Global App Awards for the second year running, as well as Practice App of the Year in New Zealand.
Practice HQ is now open to every Mayday partner.
September 9, 2026
Practice HQ is now open to every Mayday partner. This is the practice side of Mayday in one place: every client account, everyone on your team, and everything the firm is paying for. Free from the day you register, with no minimum commitment.
Firms don't roll out Mayday all at once. It starts with one account, then a second, then a portfolio. Eventually, keeping track of a whole firm’s portfolio needs to live somewhere. Who on the team can see which account. Which accounts sit on the practice licence, which pay for themselves, and what the firm's bill adds up to this month.
That’s where Practice HQ steps in.
Open Practice HQ and you can see the whole portfolio: every account in the practice, its subscription status, and sync status for Xero, QuickBooks Online or Intuit Enterprise Suite.
You can also see exactly who has access to each account, and grant or remove access on the spot.
Onboard the practice team in one place, and set which clients each person can reach. New joiner, leaver, or someone picking up a different account: you change it once, in one screen, and you're done.
This is the part firms have asked for most. Assign client accounts to the practice licence or to a direct subscription, move organisations between tiers, and see what each one contributes to the firm's spend.
So when a client asks what they're paying for, you have the answer in front of you. And when you're deciding whether the next ten entities go on the practice licence or their own direct subscription, you can see what that does to the bill before you commit.
Billing will be live at the end of September.
Practice HQ is one of three benefits of the Mayday Partner Programme, our offering for accounting firms, VCFO practices, bookkeeping firms and implementation partners.
Alongside it sit Practice Licenses, one flat monthly fee covering a set number of entities across your portfolio for lighter bookkeeping and compliance work, and the Partner Tier Discount, which cuts the price of direct subscriptions and improves as your entity count grows. Firms can mix the two across a portfolio depending on the depth of work each client needs.
Practice HQ is where you keep all of it straight.
Mayday won Xero New Zealand Practice App of the Year 2026, and firms are seeing the month-end time back in the product itself.
Practice HQ becomes another benefit for organisations, and is included with all Partner Programme plans.
If you'd like to see how Practice HQ could help your firm run Mayday across a client portfolio, register for the Partner Programme and we'll talk through the right licence for your practice.
